Jenn was a perfect fit for my bridal make up. I found Jenn on social media, looked through her pages and comments and decided to book a trial. She does everything through a portal to keep everything easy and organized. She listened to exactly what I wanted (which was a minimalistic soft glam look) and I got exactly what I asked for. Jenn used name brand, high quality products and was transparent about pricing, product use and did not hesitate to share feedback on any suggestions or questions I had since I’m not very knowledgeable about make up. Jenn is super friendly and easy to work with, communicated easily through text and email. All of these attributes make her work cost effective. Also, my wedding was hot, humid and a tornado came through not too far from where our beach front wedding was (Fairfield, CT) and my make up endured the elements through the whole day and night. I found Jennifer by searching for “best makeup artists near me”. The first thing that caught my attention was that she responded to me immediately. Jennifer answered all of my questions and was able to understand what I was looking for very quickly, and I knew I didn’t have to look anywhere else and I scheduled my appointment with her immediately. I did a makeup class with Jenn Ballard and it was one of the best investments I have made on myself! I knew some basics about makeup already but Jenn opened up my eyes to so many things I was missing in my daily makeup routine and especially helped me create a makeup look that would not only look amazing in person but also in pictures! The class is great because she works on half of your face and teaches what to do while looking in the mirror and then puts you to practice on the other side of your face. I requested a natural bridal look for my makeup class and she delivered exactly what I asked for. The finish product was soft glam and glowing, just what I wanted!
