Alex was the first vendor I booked for our wedding. We literally chose our wedding dates with her availability in mind. Alex is so much more than a hair and makeup artist-- she was like my personal stylist, confidant, hype woman! In the past I've never liked getting my makeup done but I LOVED all the looks Alex came up with. You can't go wrong with MPL!

Alex is awesome! She is kind, genuine and really cares about the bride. I did 3 looks with Alex: pithi/garba, wedding ceremony, and reception. She killed all 3 of the looks and really captured my vision. I still felt like myself in all my looks, which was important to me. Every time I was in her chair, she made me feel beautiful and was fun to chat with! She even helped guide my skincare routine prior to my wedding. I struggle with acne and after taking her recommendations, my skin was glowing and I had minimal breakouts. For every look she prepped my skin prior to make up. She included eye masks, face masks and dermaplaning. Another reason I loved Alex, her communication was always on point. I never waited more than 24 hours for a response from her! This is not something you get from all your vendors. Thanks again, Alex, for killing my looks and being a friend during my wedding weekend!

LITERALLY SPEECHLESS. Alex slayssssssss. She goes over in detail what your day of look goals are and makes them come true. She gives suggestions and feedback, but does not pressure you into doing anything you are not comfortable with. Very professional, genuine, and overall just an amazing human to be around. I still can't stop staring at my photos because im still shocked she made me look this hot! THANK YOU ALEX!

Alex was the most kind and caring makeup artist I have ever dealt with. She did all of my wedding hair and makeup and she was super easy to work with. Ahead of the wedding weekend, we had a couple consultation calls and a couple concept mapping calls. She was super prepared and talented. She is very personable and the quality of her work was superb. I’ve never felt so beautiful in my entire life. She SLAYED all 5 looks (different hair and makeup for each).

Okay WOW. If you’re trying to decide between make up artists in the Dallas area for your wedding weekend, look no further.

Alex was one of my favorite vendors to work with (it feels weird even calling her a vendor, because now I feel like we’re close friends!). There are vendors that are at your wedding to perform a service and get out as quickly as possible. Not Alex! She is patient, listens to what your preferences are, gives guidance on visions without being overpowering, and is humble enough to make any tweaks or changes you might want. She is confident in her work and it shows! Alex made me feel beautiful during my wedding. She also made me feel totally comfortable because of her outgoing personality!

Alex’s sanitation practices are top notch (I feel an important callout to make in today’s climate). She doesn’t cheap out and takes care of her brides in the right way.

She is also extremely professional. I was particular about how I wanted to handle contracts, and I asked for a lot of clarity and confirmation with payments. Never an issue for Alex. Her contract and payment system is super professional, which made it extremely seamless to work with her, understand the terms of our contract, and also ensure everything was handled from start to finish. Amidst everything else and the numerous vendors you might work with especially during an Indian wedding, it was a breath of fresh air to never have to worry about the small details when working with Alex.

Ms. Painted Lady, Alex, is everything you need and want for your wedding weekend. She will make you feel like the most beautiful bride and she will make the hours of hair and makeup the most enjoyable time.

Ms Painted Lady was hands down one of the easiest and professional vendors I dealt with for my wedding. Prior to my wedding day, she was very hands on with emails, phone calls, trials and overall communication. She maintained a high class of professionalism and was so warm hearted to work with. Her team executed my wedding day by doing full make up and hair for 12 girls! Everyone looked flawless and I could not be more happy with my final bridal look. Cant wait to work with Alex and her team again!

Ms Painted Lady did my makeup and hair for 3 of my brother’s wedding events (sangeet, wedding, and reception). I corresponded with Alex via email before the events and she was so amazing in answering all my questions promptly. She was also so kind and patient! For the events, Caitlin did my MUAH and my mom’s. I’ll speak about my own looks, because they were each distinct styles.

First off, Caitlin is phenomenal. She executed my vision of the hair and makeup I wanted for each event so flawlessly! The compliments were endless! My most favorite look was my reception look because it was a dramatic and edgy look. I showed her my mood board of look inspo and she did EXACTLY what I imagined for my makeup and hair. I had an overall wonderful experience with Ms Painted Lady, especially with Caitlin! I promise you won’t go wrong with working with this team of artists 🙂

DON’T GO HERE!!!
I was beyond thrilled and couldn’t wait to get my bridal makeup/hair done from the best-so I thought. After hearing all the great things about ms painted lady I went in with full TRUST and confidence and with high expectations. Little did I know I would end up extremely disappointed in how things turned out. Aside from paying so much and not scheduling a trial session. I went in and from the moment I was there everything was soo rushed. Kainat, whom was assigned to do my moms makeup rushed through and my mom did not like how she was doing her makeup and hair, so we brought our concerns to Alex’s attention and requested she step in and fix things. Alex was also rushing through with my bridal hair and makeup and seemed more worried about the time and that she had to be somewhere else, as she constantly mentioned throughout. Even though communication was thorough and concept photos were provided beforehand. She had a hard time understanding the concept I was going for and was more focused on the time and what she wanted to do, not what I wanted. Upon noticing creasing from my under eyes I brought it to her attention and asked her to fix it. From there, she immediately took a dislike to me and the issue at fault. The rest of the session was a nightmare, I felt so uncomfortable, disappointed, and the look I envisioned did not turn out the way I had hoped. I don’t recommend her- she is extremely rude when things don’t go her way and UNPROFESSIONAL!
