I couldn’t wait to give EYE OF LUNA a 5 star review. I got married at the end of August in the Hudson Valley (Old Mill Guesthouse) and Karen and her team, Victoria and Carolina, did the most GORGEOUS job with the hair and makeup of my whole crew and I (Mother, Officiant and all of my part of the wedding party). Throughout my experience of doing a trial and on my wedding day, Karen was wonderful at guiding me through the process of deciding my look for the wedding as I was completely overwhelmed by the options at first. We had a lot of fun, it was more like hanging out with a friend and testing out makeup! My favorite part was that everyone (including myself) looked like their natural selves but with the most beautiful natural elevated look. I kept hearing all of my friends say how much they loved their hair and makeup throughout the day. I would recommend Eye of Luna to anyone to shine on their wedding day!

Could not recommend Karen and her team more. I usually do not wear much/any make up so getting my makeup done for other weddings I have been in has not been the best experience. I honestly have never liked the result when I have gotten my makeup done before so naturally I was very nervous when I was trying to find someone to do my makeup for my wedding. Eye of Luna was exactly what I was looking for - very natural and beautiful. I was so so happy with how my hair and makeup came out for my wedding day!

I truly can’t recommend Karen and her team enough! She was initially hired in 2019 for my friends wedding and when my wedding came up in 2024 I knew I had to reach out and hire her! She was absolutely amazing- she makes you feel like your true self! Nothing over the top or fake, my photos feel look like me and I love it!

Eye of Luna was a fantastic choice for my wedding!! They did an amazing job on my hair and makeup, listening to exactly what I wanted. I was so happy with the way my hair and makeup turned out. I was looking for a more natural look and she absolutely crushed it.

They also did a great job with my 8 bridesmaids, mom, and MIL. My sister has a head injury and they were exceptionally accommodating helping to do her hair and makeup without touching the top of her head much.

Overall all of the bridesmaids were happy with their hair and makeup (something I can’t say for all the weddings I have been in). Everyone still looked like themselves and the makeup/hair artists listened to exactly what each person wanted.

Highly recommend working with Eye of Luna for your next event/wedding.

I had a wonderful experience with Eye of Luna. Karen did both my hair and makeup for my wedding day. From beginning to end, she was very professional throughout the entire experience. During the trial session, she listened to what I had envisioned and helped me alter things to fit my style, complexion, hair texture, etc. She was on time and very well prepared. She was flexible in coordinating with my photographer. Most importantly, the hair and makeup turned out beautifully, just as I had wanted. I would highly recommend her!

Karen is amazing and so talented! After finding her page on Instagram and seeing all the beautiful, natural makeup looks she has done, I knew I had to book with her as soon as possible. I am a total makeup junkie myself, and super critical, but I felt so at ease with Karen. I was able to relax on my wedding day and completely trust her amazing work. Her team also did my bridesmaids' glam and did a spectacular job!!
