After coming across America on Instagram, I knew immediately that I wanted her to do my makeup for my wedding! America is BEYOND talented and aside from that, is the kindest human ever. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day thanks to her- she took my vision and made it even better than I could have imagined. Not only did I love my look, but all of my bridesmaids and moms did too. Our glam lasted literally all night long and photographed SO well. America was extremely communicative and helped me feel so prepared for the big day. She was flexible and responsive to me when I needed to make last minute changes. America helped make the morning getting ready SO fun and a day I will always remember. SO THANKFUL!! Do yourself a favor and book America and her team!!!

I have had the pleasure of knowing America for 3 years and she did my make up for my best friend's wedding. Immediately after seeing my make up, I knew I had to have her for my wedding one day. I convinced a couple more friends along the way to also book America, and they were so happy with her work. The first thing I did when we chose a date was contact America and I was relieved when she had my date available because that girl is busy (for obvious reasons!!!) She truly takes her time, she is punctual, responsive, and has became a friend of mine. I admire her work and will refer her to ANYONE who asks. You will not regret it! America is the best!!! 10/10 recommend. She does such an amazing job. I asked to look like an elevated version of myself and she delivered. During my makeup preview we made a couple adjustments so my wedding day makeup was perfection. I even accidentally went a little too heavy on some self tanner so my face and neck color wasn’t very even (sorry, America!!!) and she not only totally fixed the problem but didn’t freak out or make me feel bad for that messing up. She also added such great energy to the morning while getting ready. We still talk about America’s love of the Real Housewives! America also did makeup for my mom, MIL, and sisters and everyone’s turned out amazing. Everyone’s makeup looked exactly the same at the end of the night as it did in the morning. I loved America’s work so much I even am going to get 1:1 makeup lessons from her!

Okay buckle up!! I take reviews so seriously because I am a wedding photographer in Chicago + I know the importance of an honest referral. America has worked with some of my clients over the years and their makeup always photographs AMAZINGLY so I knew I was going to reach out to her someday when it was my turn to walk down the aisle.

The time for my wedding finally (lol) came in November 2023 + America was my makeup artist!! When I tell you that literally all of my bridesmaids + our moms were raving about our makeup, America’s timeliness + how beautifully everyone’s makeup lasted the entire day, it’s 100% truth. I barely slept the night before my wedding + America was the first person to arrive that morning in my hotel suite. She brought such a calming but excited energy with her + was exactly the energy I needed to start the day.

America was also beyond professional from the beginning to the end of the planning process. She is quick to respond to emails + so on top of the ball with contracts / thorough communication, and that is SO crucial for a brides sanity.

Being a vendor myself I have developed really high standards for who I work with + who I am willing to refer my clients to, because trust is so important to me. America is absolutely someone I am referring all of my brides to, + she is absolutely someone you want to have with you on your day. Book her early because her calendar fills fast!!!
