I was in Tokyo in September and had the smart idea to have my hair cut and styled near Roppongi where my hotel was. I googled and discovered a well-rated English-speaking salon and made an appointment via email. Prompt response, appointment made in the afternoon I wanted. After lunch at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon I sauntered over to the salon and met the owner Yuko who welcomed me into a room for my haircut and treatment. Salon was clean and tastefully appointed, Yuko was fun and trendy yet professional and thoughtful. I do not have much hair to start with, so I knew it would be a challenge. Anyway, a few months down the road the hair has grown out a bit and I like the way it looked a bit “wild” on the second day after a wash giving it a bit of volume. It was a nice experience and I am glad I visited VIP Creative during my Tokyo trip.

Came here while on vacation from the US, and so glad I did!! I had Zaki as my stylist and she was so sweet, so considerate, and so good at cutting + styling hair!! The head spa was wonderful. Cannot recommend enough. The staff also spoke English super well! If I come back to Tokyo again will come back here. 🙂

As my trip to Japan was coming to an end, I spontaneously decided I wanted to get a haircut. As I don’t speak the language, I searched for some spots that had English speaking hair stylists and came across VIP creative hair which only had good ratings. I emailed in and had a relatively quick response that they were able to accommodate me the next day.
I had the pleasure of getting my hair cut and styled by Hikaru. Hikaru made sure I received the cut that I not only wanted, but also matched my lifestyle. He was easy going and a great conversationalist. I felt very comfortable the entire session, and best of all, I left very happy with my haircut! If you are looking for a great English speaking salon and stylist, I would recommend VIP and Hikaru!

I’m very impressed with the care my hair received at this salon today. Although the final color didn’t exactly match the sample picture I sent, the stylist explained that achieving it would require more bleaching, which could cause damage—and I ended up loving how it turned out anyway. The salon is beautiful, and the stylists speak English fluently, making communication effortless. My stylist, Ms. Zaki, is incredibly sweet, kind, and attentive. Booking an appointment through email was easy, and they were very responsive. Highly recommend this place!

Best Hair saloon in Minato-ku, All the staff are english speakers and very friendly. The services and prices are unmatched.
I have been going to the saloon for about 1 year now and the service is excellent like it's day 1, since most saloons that I've tried usually drop in service after few months and becoming a regular, but I can confidently say that this place is different.

Fantastic job from this hair salon. The staff speak English well, and were all extremely friendly. I got a spiral perm and the base lvl hair treatment. Phenomenal value. The treatment cost only ¥3,500 and included a 10 min head, neck, and shoulder massage. As for the perm, I have hair that can only be politely described as "uncooperative". I have extremely fine and fragile hair with natural 2a/2b curls, but after only two dye jobs my previously annoying became entirely unmanageable. Not only did it break at the slightest provocation (think washing, brushing, any kind of manipulation) it had also become flat and lifeless looking. I previously almost never set foot in salons, and now I was going to salons every month everywhere across East and South-East Asia getting treatments to try to restore some strength and texture. My hair grows incredibly slowly (7yrs/2') so I really, REALLY didn't want to get a big chop and start over. These guys literally saved my waist length hair. Even though previous attempts to perm my hair have failed, they somehow managed to get my hair to the 2c pattern I always wanted without frying it all off, despite the extensive existing damage. I would give a million stars if I could. Thank you all so much!

Probably the best hair salon I’ve been to in my life! Everyone speaks English so feel free to call them to make an appointment, I emailed them to [email protected] and got a reply within a day. Yuko, who is the owner and a stylist, is very professional and kind, she will make sure you receive exactly what you want. I went to them twice and the first time the result wasn’t as evident (even tho I still liked it) so Yuko offered free of charge second visit to make sure I’m happy with my hair! Thank you for such a generous offer!:)
At the salon you will get your private room, menu with drinks, great head and shoulders massage!
