Shari did an absolutely incredible job on my makeup!! She is a joy to work with, from her fun energy on the wedding morning, to her talent with makeup. Myself, my mother and all of my bridesmaids looked fantastic. Shari was amazing about communication as well! The aspect I was most impressed with was the longevity of the makeup, myself and my family are big cryers, and our makeup didn’t budge!!! I cannot recommend her enough!

Shari and I first connected through a bride group on Facebook- I had posted looking for help after being ghosted by a different MUA, and was pretty desperate to find someone new for myself and 9 other people. Shari reached out and said she’d love to help me- was very kind and compassionate, and flexible right off the bat. Compared to the others that reached out offering their services, Shari was personable, responsive, and just very down to earth, which made me feel comfortable. From that moment on, I knew my bridal party was in excellent hands.

Shari drove from PA to NJ for my makeup trial, and we hit it off right away. I was pretty nervous as I had never had a full face of makeup before, and my only experience with foundation was when it was caked on by someone at the mall trying to sell me a product. My skin is oily, acne prone, and tends to get pretty red- so I had no clue what to expect. Man, I was blown away. Shari looked over my inspiration pictures, gave suggestions / made some adjustments to match my wedding color palette, and knocked it out of the park the first time around. I wasn’t sure if I’d need to do more than 1 trial since I was so clueless, but as soon as I looked in the mirror, I knew that was THE look.

One of my favorite things about Shari is that she took time to listen to each person, hear their concerns or suggestions, give feedback, and executed it with an immense level of skill. She's so knowledgeable about how makeup will wear as the day goes on, and how to layer and blend and what not. Me, the bride, I had never had a full face of makeup before, and didn’t know how to put a full look together. Shari took the time to explain about the products and asked for feedback, assuring me if I didn’t love it she would be happy to adjust accordingly. Having someone you can be honest with is a MUST. A few of my bridesmaids rarely wear makeup and asked for a more natural look, and the soft glow Shari achieved for them was absolutely gorgeous. A noteworthy mention is also the extent she goes to to keep her makeup, brushes, sponges, etc. clean while working. Nothing was shared between people, and everything was a once use then toss, or wash situation which I appreciated especially since there were so many of us.

To say I'm glad Shari and I got to work together is an understatement. She is one of my favorite highlights from my wedding day. Working with Shari is being certain that no matter what, you can know without a shadow of a doubt that you will look and feel absolutely beautiful on your special day. She is incredibly accommodating and did everything in her power to make my wedding dreams come true- including waking up at 4am to ensure she had enough time to do my entire wedding party's makeup before we had to be ready for photos. 9 bridesmaids, my mother, and a friend- she did it all! From soft glam, natural glow, to dramatic wing liner, stunning highlights and contour, to gorgeous lashes and refined eyeshadow. If you are on the fence with an artist, or doing research before picking someone, please just know that if you are reading this review, you’ve found the right person.

Shari did my makeup for my wedding in May 2024, along with a few of my bridesmaids and MIL. I cannot recommend her enough!!!! I have very particular, acne-prone skin, and Shari listened to all my concerns and my skin looked flawless on wedding day. My make up looked perfect all the way through to the after-party. My MIL never wears make up and wasn't sure what she wanted, and her make up looked so beautiful and true to her. Whether you are "not a make up person" who wants something natural, glam, anything in between, Shari is your girl!! Besides how stunning my make up was and just how I pictured it, Shari is an absolute blast to be around and will be your hype woman as you get ready!!! Super appreciated how easy it was to communicate throughout the whole process too as a busy DIY bride.
