If you're a local DMV bride-- walk do not run. The team at Brushed Beauty is as professional and talented as they are are friendly and easy to work with. I got married this past May, and I cannot say enough amazing things about Heather and team.

First of all, Heather is SUPER organized and makes sure that all trials are done in a timely fashion, just in case there are adjustments you need to make before the big day. She does the trials in a group format which I actually loved.

Now the TALENT-- I'm 38 and this is my second marriage, so we did things a little bit different. The team (Ariana for makeup and Jess for hair), were just phenomenal. They really nailed the look I was going for (casually romantic). I didn't have a wedding party per say, but I had about 6 other women get ready with me in the morning. Everyone looked amazing. We had an earlier wedding (afternoon), which meant an earlier than normal arrival time. They were super flexible and just all around wonderful to work with.

My girls looked absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t have been happier with my wedding hair and makeup. I did my trial and was absolutely obsessed with my hair and makeup and somehow they crushed it even more on the wedding day. My mom and MIL were a little apprehensive about the H&MU process but Heathers team was so great with them and made them feel comfortable and they looked amazing! 15/10 recommend!

Heather and her team are absolutely amazing! They were very responsive and answered my 1000 questions. They gave me great recommendations for my skin type (something I was worried about) and they did such a wonderful job making my skin look perfect. We had many different hair types in my group and they knew how to work with each of them and made them look so beautiful. I would book them again and again for an event.

I had a wonderful time working with Brushed Beauty LLC for my wedding. Heather was extremely easy to communicate with and the individual hair and make-up artists day of were amazing.

There were nine bridesmaids, four flower girls, two moms, and the bride getting hair and makeup services. We had two hair stylists and two make-up artists and they moved very efficiently through this large group, finishing earlier than expected. Everyone was very happy with their hair and make-up - the team has really perfected the natural glam/soft glam look. They were also super accommodating in making adjustments as requested. Our make-up lasted through hours of dancing and everyone's curls held through the night.
