I will never not leave this place a bad review. It's not a school, it's a way for the owner to get free labor from people. She gives you makeup she buys off ebay FROM CHINA. How do I know? Because I was a student that in a matter of weeks "worked" for her. Although I was never paid for any jobs or teaching for her. I work with many local artists and her name definitely travels all over, but sadly none of the things you'll hear are good. Everything she says about her life is a lie. She also keeps confidential files on student's in her home, including account numbers, socials, IDs, addresses.

I'm currently a student at the Institute of Makeup Artistry. I haven't had the opportunity to make a career out of my education, but with the instruction I'm receiving now I foresee no problems accomplishing my future goals. I look forward to learning more from my mentor. Carrie Von Loudon is very talented and knowledgeable of the industry.

Thank to this institute I was able to learn the right way in make up. I absolutely loved the school and had so much fun each day Especialy when we had hands on! I miss Ms.Carrie she's such a great women and always treated her student to the max! I highly recommend it you will love it !!!

This schools a scam, I wish I would’ve never spent money on this. You don’t learn anything that you can’t learn from just a little research and you’re used as a person assistant for Carrie. Don’t waste your time, energy, or money here.

In the early days before the school officially opened, I was interning with Carrie to perfect my basic makeup artistry skills and to learn more about the F/X side of the industry. Then at Carrie's encouragement, I took the knowledge she imparted to me and enhanced it by getting my Cosmetology license. I will be forever grateful for this experience. I wish the school had been officially open at that time so I could have learned even more.

I attended the institute for Makeup Artistry as well as for Marketing and starting my own business. Carrie is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the makeup industry. I learned so much more than how to apply makeup. She helped me start my own business and guided me throughout the process. She continues to stay in touch and is there to answer any questions I may have about this highly competitive industry. The school is very hands on and you gain so much experience.
