Ahshia did my hair and make up for my wedding September 28th, 2024. She did an amazing job with both. I don't wear alot of make up so I told her to do a natural look and she did. Everyone loved my hair and make up especially my husband. It held up all day especially me having tears in my eyes and all night even into the next morning. I have heavy and thick hair and my curls lasted until the next morning as well. I would definitely recommend her.

Ahshia is the BEST!!! From the time we first spoke, I loved her calm energy and focus on a stress-free experience -- such a great vibe! And let me tell you, if you want someone who is going to really work to make sure you get the look you want, it is her. We did two hair trials and I still didn't love it, but Ahshia was PHENOMENAL in taking the time to talk through it with me and better understand the look I was going for. Sure enough, she nailed it on the wedding day! I felt beautiful, my mom looked amazing, and we had a wonderful getting-ready experience thanks to Ahshia. Truly a kind soul and so talented at what she does, don't hesitate to hire this lovely woman.

I absolutely adore Ahshia and her team. I hired Ahshia after finding her on the knot and then we had a conversation over a year ago over the phone about my wedding vision. In August 2024 I did my hair and makeup trial with Ahshia. Prior to this appointment I expressed concern about needing a haircut/trim and wash and blow out and she immediately set up for me to go to one of her colleagues (Tia) who did a fantastic job. During my hair and makeup trial Ahshia was kind and did a fantastic job and did over what I thought could be imagined. I told her some tweaks and she was confident she would deliver come wedding day. Last week Oct 26th was my wedding day and Ahshia BEYOND delivered. She helped me look and feel so beautiful and made me look even better than on the trial day. My mother, who is picky and often does not do much for herself, was SO happy with her results as well and my sisters and other bridesmaids loved the MBA team. I am truly awed by the experience I had and Ahshia has gained a forever supporter of her services and I cannot recommend her enough. Some things she did: -my mother wanted a hairclip and I did not have any extras. Ahshia just had some extras and was able to provide this for my mother which made her ELATED -Her team worked double to get my mother's hair correct -Ahshia DID MY GROOMS makeup! He was SO confident and was feeling himself by the start of our wedding. He felt like he was cared for as well -Her team was able to stick to the timeline and were just so focused on their roles and making sure all 6 of my bridesmaids felt special -her team provided the glam looks to my bridesmaids that I was hoping for and overall my bridesmaids were beautiful and my day was a success -Her team was able to work on women from different ethnicities, hair styles and skin tones -Her team worked hard to prepare in advance and I know they did because they asked me for hair and makeup inspo photos from all of my bridal party and gave us all feedback on what was needed (weaves, clip ins etc) so that we could all come prepared. -my sister arrived wanting a ponytail and MBA team member Tia literally made the ponytail unrecognizable and gave my sister the largest ponytail that was full of life that she requested

Makeup by Ahshia was one of the first few vendors I booked when we knew our wedding date! Ahshia is an incredible artist. I am a picky makeup girl and i knew I wanted to look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. With Ahshia I was never nervous. She emailed and texted throughout the entire planning process checking in. On my trial she recreated the pictures i sent her flawlessly. And if possible on my wedding day the makeup was even better! On top of being talented Ahshia is a nice person. Your wedding day is hectic and goes by quickly and sitting in the chair with her i was calm and relaxed. Thank you so much for making me look and feel my best.

My experience with Ahshia was amazing on all levels. She is a multi-talented artist, hospitable, and thoughtful. She was gentle with my hair and face and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The final reveal was breathtaking. I felt like a queen and I especially loved the glamorous details on my eyes and eyebrows. She did a beautiful, elegant job with my hair, too. Ahshia’s services were exceptional. Her process is extremely professional from beginning to end. Booking an appointment was an ease, paying the invoice and ultimately getting my service. She did an amazing job ensuring my makeup and hair was ready for my maternity shoot. The fact that she was able to do both made her stand out, but the quality of her work makes her someone I would absolutely recommend and use again. As someone who doesn’t get their makeup done professionally very often and only allows a select few to do my hair, I completely trust Ahshia who works with different hair textures and skin types ensuring her tools are clean and well-taken care of.
