Molly is so fun to work with and has such a great eye for color! I had a large bridal party and everyone's hair and make up looked fantastic. Only pointer is to start earlier than you think you need to so you don't run late. 10/10 recommend Molly!

This is the second time that I have used Molly Makeup. The first time, I was getting married. I live in Houston, and getting married in Austin. I contacted Molly Makeup without a practice run because I ran out of time. I was beyond grateful they took me in! It was the best decision ever. She did a natural look for my wedding. I used her AGAIN for my maternity photos (to come!). She did my hair and makeup with a specific vision in mind. And here she went dramatic. She was wonderful. I can't go anywhere else.

Molly is a great person and definitely good at what she does, when time is not a factor. Molly was supposed to show up at 9:00, but didn’t show up until 9:30, because her kids daycare didn’t open as early as she thought. She had one girl come to do hair but did not have that girl arrive until 11. There were 7 of us total and we needed to be ready at 2:30. I just don’t think they had enough time for just the two of them, one of my bridesmaids didn’t start having her hair done until 15 minutes before we were supposed to be leaving and they didn’t even start on my mother until we were heading out the door. Thankfully we were doing pictures before the wedding! I loved the way my hair and makeup looked at my trial, I just wish they had planned a little better. Also, Molly didn’t give me the option to check my hair before she did hair spray (to the point where my hair looked wet the rest of the day) and I really wish she would have, if she had it probably would have been easy to fix. I didn’t say anything that day, but I wish I would have, but we were already running late, and our car had been waiting for over 20 minutes. My hair looked bad though and that's definitely not the way you want to spend your wedding day. That being said, I thought my makeup looked great.

Molly was recommended by our wedding planner. Although we had a few communication issues at the beginning of the process (scheduling the hair & make-up trial, going back and forth in text messages, hair & make-up trial taking way longer than she planned), she absolutely delivered on our wedding day! She was on time and not only did my hair and makeup, but also my groom’s hair and his son’s hair. They both got Viking braids that turned out amazing! I’ve never felt so beautiful as I did on my wedding day!

I want to start by saying that Molly is a kind & talented hair and makeup artist. I was very happy with my hair and makeup for the wedding day but was disappointed with her professionalism, communication and overall customer service. Like other reviews mentioned, she was about an hour and fifteen minutes late to my wedding day. While I understand that it was due to a personal event, I didn’t get a call explaining this to me. But rather, I had to wait, call & text her to see where she was. Also she wasn’t able to get to all my bridesmaids, because she took longer than her estimated time. Although I appreciated that she refunded me for the individuals she didn’t get to, we had to have another bridesmaid complete the other makeups. Again, she is very talented, but, I was disappointed with her communication & timeline.

Molly was EXTREMELY patient & WONDERFUL while working with us. We had some last minute changes & Molly was very understanding. Her work is impeccable! I got to see molly herself for my trial & had Cindy for my big day! Cindy was wonderful as well & I felt like a princess on my big day. The women in my bridal party were stunning as well! The artists with Molly make up & hair really did the best at bringing out the most beautiful features of myself & all my ladies. Also, our make up and hair survived hours of happy tears and line dancing. I am so happy I had molly & her team to help make my day so special!

Molly is the most professional and dedicated makeup artist. She has done my makeup for several occasions, including my wedding, and I have never felt more beautiful! I have also seen first-hand peoples' emotional reactions after she has done their makeup, because they have never felt so good about themselves. You can't put a price tag on that! We all deserve to feel amazing for special occasions. You can tell she is truly passionate about her work. She will always go the extra mile to make sure her clients are happy.

On that note, I saw another review about her having to cancel a job on short notice. Please know that she would never leave a customer without purposely. She was able to have one of her most talented artists cover her job and the client was satisfied with her work. I know she has been dealing with an illness lately, so I hope that people can be understanding with her and how this impacts her business. You never know what someone is dealing with in their personal life, so let's all be kind to one another. If this person had reached out to Molly about being dissatisfied, I am 110% sure she would have done whatever was needed to make it right.
