I found Shruti through another MUA I originally booked and needed to cancel (for a great reason - she was due around the time of my wedding!). While I'm sure I would have loved the other MUA's work, I could not have been more grateful for Shruti's amazinggggg job for my wedding. When I tell you this makeup stayed on UNTIL THE FOLLOWING MORNING, I was in awe (yes I forgot to remove my makeup at the end of the night haha).

I'm a crier and you couldn't tell I cried during my first look with my husband at all. As a person of color, I was a bit nervous in finding someone who lived/travels to Long Island for a wedding and can work with my complexion (which is not very dark, but the population in Long Island and in this industry is primarily white) so I was so VERY pleasantly surprised to find a fellow person of color in this space.

She was such a fun character to have as part of my glam squad for my wedding day and no joke, through this makeup look I found the perfect lip combo that compliments my skin tone that I now use for our date nights! I have never felt more beautiful than how I did on my wedding day and I couldn't thank her enough!

Shruti is amazing! I have never liked my makeup done before until I met Shruti. I was blown away by my wedding makeup so much that I have booked her for several events that I have coming up. She really listens and does not make you feel pressured to use anything you don’t want to. The absolute best!

Shruti is a super talented makeup artist! She did my makeup for my engagement shoot and my henna party and both looks stayed all day and night! Everyone was asking who did my makeup both times. I would 100% book her again. She makes you feel soo comfortable in the chair and has a very warm personality as well.

Shruti was extremely professional and arrived on time. She worked very well with the hair stylist I hired. Shruti did an excellent job doing me and my mother’s makeup for my baby shower. Her expectations for doing my makeup the way I showed her were exactly on target and no touch up’s needed. My mother was very happy as well! Since my mother does not like a lot of makeup she frequently asks for makeup to be removed. However, after Shruti did her makeup it was just perfect and she was very happy the make up was not caked on! I would highly recommend Shruti for any event!

Shruti completely knocked it out of the park for my wedding day makeup. I looked and felt so beautiful. It was the best makeup anyone has ever done on me…ever! The lashes she chose fit my eye perfectly, they did not lift at all, and were very comfortable the whole day. People were saying I looked like I could be on the cover on a magazine that’s how perfect I looked. My bridesmaid said she liked her makeup done by Shruti for my wedding better than her makeup at her own wedding!! I’ll post more photos when my professional ones come in. Shruti is sweet, punctual and a master when it comes to makeup! Can not recommend her enough, she’s truly amazing. I’m so happy with how my makeup came out for my wedding.

Shruti and her team are so incredible! I worked with them for my wedding. They were easy to work with and Shruti did a stunning job on my makeup. She took notes at our trial and made sure I was comfortable with the day of plans! Would definitely recommend working with her!

Shruti and her team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. She is extremely personable, and made me feel very comfortable all throughout the process. She is responsive and quick to follow up in emails.

Shruti was great in guiding me on what I would like based off not only on my looks, but on my personality (which is to say…a huge fan of sweats all day if I could!). I had also booked my hair stylist through Shruti as well, and Erica was just as amazing and sweet.

On the day of the wedding, Shruti and her team were timely, and clearly knew what they were doing. All of my girls looked absolutely amazing, and any changes requested to makeup/hair were done well without issues.

I could not have been any happier with my makeup and hair. I received so many compliments from my guests, and my own mother (who normally is a very tough critic) was won over as well. That is a very hard feat… so kudos to Shruti and her team! I would highly recommend them to any new bride to be and will definitely be booking her services again for future events to come.
