We hired Sunny Hair and Makeup Artistry for my October 7th wedding and it was by far one of the best decisions we made in the entire wedding planning process!

Cricket, my artist EXTREMELY helpful, talented, patient and friendly to work with. She did an outstanding job with my trials and helping me, a worrier, through making my selections! Her team was punctual, pleasant and GREAT at what they do!

We were married at some family property outside of Round Top, TX. The team was there right on time, despite some Aggie traffic, and went right to work getting my girls and mother ready. Photo makeup is such a strange process but I can honestly say we all looked stunning!! I can't wait to update my review with photos.

Thank you again Cricket and team at Sunny Hair & Makeup! You were such a huge part of making my day special and making me feel like the most beautiful woman on earth!

Sunny and her team did a fantastic job for my wedding on October 15, 2022. They did my bridal hair and makeup plus the hair and makeup for five of my bridesmaids. Everything went so smoothly and everyone was so happy with everything. Everyone looked natural, but at the same time completely enhanced and just flawless and gorgeous. It was hotter and more humid than expected on our wedding day, but my hair and makeup held up really well. She did my hair and makeup for my rehearsal dinner/welcome party the day before as well, and it was stunning. Thank you, Sunny!

My husband and I were in town doe a company Christmas party and I decided to pamper myself and find someone to do my hair and makeup. I didn't know anyone in the Austin area and found Sunny through a google search. She responded quickly and was very response to my questions. She arrived on time and was very professional and polite. I showed her my ideas for hair and shared my thoughts on makeup. She did amazing! I loved it all! I am so glad I got lucky and found her. If you need hair or makeup in the Austin area, I highly recommend her!

I unfortunately should have listened to my gut when booking with Sunny. The communication was not good. I went from paying in full, all the way to my wedding day without talking on the phone once. We had back and fourth emails, which seemed fine… until they showed up 3 hours late. There was no apologies for this mistake. It caused a lot of unneeded stress for me and pressure for the HMU artist to rush through 5 people. After the whole process was done there was zero follow up and still no apology for being late. My hmu was so nice and I was pretty happy with her, however I did not feel like it was worth the price. I would not recommend and I would seriously consider actually answering your phone and having better communication for this business.

The worst possible experience ! After booking Sunny Hair and Makeup for my sister in laws wedding months in advance along with paying for all services prior, they were a NO SHOW on the wedding day !!! On top of that we could not reach the owner or the team all morning !! We called over 50 times , messaged through social media outlets and no response . The owner finally responded about two hours prior to the wedding, saying she turned off her phone . She responded by admitting that she didn’t put the correct time on her calendar ,which is strange because she had already confirmed the time via email and directly though a phone call two days prior. This wedding had been planned over a span of a year and one of the first bookings was for the brides hair and makeup along with all of the wedding party . I have worked with so many hair stylists and makeup artists in the past and this was by far the worst possible experience !!! I would NOT RECOMMEND!!!
