We celebrated our 18th year wedding anniversary last October and wanted to have a picture of us taken to commemorate the special day. We were heading to Joshua tree that time and thought it was the perfect timing. Easily found a photographer but couldn't found someone to do my hair and make up. I stumbled on Wendy Anne's add and sent her a message. She immediately replied to my message. On the day of the photoshoot, she came on time. She was very kind, professional and she listened to how I wanted my make up and hairstyle to look like. All her products were good quality. I know because I have very sensitive skin and I didn't have any reactions. Loved how my hair and make up came out. I would definitely use her service again if I need one.

INCREDIBLE tape-in extensions.

It has been 4 weeks since my first appointment with Wendy. She installed 2 rows of beautiful tape-ins and they are still perfectly intact & beautiful.

Wendy deserves more than 5 stars for a number of reasons:

1. She was EXTREMELY flexible. I waited until the last minute to try and get an appointment with a stylist to install tape-ins for a Cabo wedding the next weekend. I texted her on a Saturday and she was able to fit me in that MONDAY. As in - She went to her distributor the next morning, picked up the perfect match tape-ins just by going off a photo I sent her, and had me walking around with gorgeous long hair by the afternoon. Obviously I plan to plan ahead in the future, but a lot of stylists or personal service providers do not accommodate such last minute jobs and tell them tough luck. So grateful I found Wendy!

2. She did a fantastic job. This was my first time getting serious hair extensions after years of opting to use clip-ins that were doing some serious damage to my hair / making my natural hair unbearable to look at. Taking out clip-ins is like taking off a bra - I was worried that tape-ins would feel like the clip-ins I could never take off. When Wendy put mine in I could not feel them and still 4 weeks later cannot feel them.

3. She made sure I felt extremely safe and comfortable due to covid-19. Her spa was extremely clean and she took a number of extra precautions that she made me aware of prior to my appointment.

4. She's a great person in general. Very kind, warm, friendly, and intuitive. I came into her shop in a pretty bad mood & anxious about whether or not I'd like tape-ins and left feeling fantastic both inwardly and outwardly.

Wendy was amazing doing my engagement photo makeup. She went out of her way to come out to see us at our Airbnb even though it was further away than expected! Wendy has a personality that lights up a room and she is amazing at getting you to feel beyond comfortable in her presence. I CANNOT wait to have her do my makeup and hair for my upcoming wedding. She is worth every penny!

I could go on and on about how sweet and connecting Wendy is or how much all of my bridesmaids and mother enjoyed working with her, but probably what's most pertinent is she did a fabulous job with makeup and hair for my wedding! I am someone who has not been a big fan of professional makeup in the past and she did an excellent job finding something that was natural, suited my face and made me feel so darn pretty. I would recommend her for any bride that wants that effortless glowy look on her wedding day! I'm sure she can glam it up to no end as she is very knowledgable but in my case she struck a great balance of a natural look in-person that still pops in the photos. Wendy is just also very cool, and I felt in very good hands. I really hope her business soars. <3

Wendy worked wonders on my wedding day. She was prompt, professional, calm and friendly and really put me at ease throughout the whole process. She did a fabulous job styling my long brunette hair into soft waves and created a natural but polished look with my bridal make-up, as well as doing a great job with hair and make-up for my bridesmaid and my mom (mother of the bride) who both looked amazing.
Both hair and make-up looked great on the wedding photos and lasted well throughout the evening.

Wendy gave my hair the best makeover ever! I gave her my idea for my hair and she ran with it and put in her little twist and I absolutely love how my hair turned out. I’ve never gotten this many compliments on my hair ever! Although she bleached parts of my hair for highlights, it doesn’t feel damaged at all. The color she used in my hair was exactly what I wanted as well. Also, her candles are to die for! ?
